Why this boot
Grip Xtreme sole — designed for ice and snow. Yellow and white gripping elements are embedded directly into the sole, with a deeper, more aggressive tread than the standard Fire Eagle Air. If you operate in winter conditions or routinely face slick scenes, this is the sole you want under you.
CROSSTECH® liner — waterproof and protective. Keeps your feet dry and breathable while certified to NFPA 1990 (1992) for protection against liquids, chemicals, and bloodborne pathogens.
Climate System. Temperature-regulating air channels keep feet warm in cold and cool in heat. Fresh air filters in, moist air vents out through the boot's top with each step.
Ankle Flex System. Engineered for stable footing during climbing, kneeling, and driving — and especially valuable on snow or ice, where one bad step can put you down.
Lightweight composite toe. Roomy and less fatiguing than steel, while still exceeding NFPA and ASTM impact requirements.
Built-in boot jack. Pull these off without bending — appreciated at 3 a.m.
Care & longevity
HAIX recommends following NFPA 1851 guidelines for routine and advanced inspection. Brush off loose dirt, wash with warm water and mild dish soap, air dry without forced heat, and finish with a silicone-based polish (avoid wax-based — it clogs the leather's breathability).
When the sole wears down, these boots can be retreaded with original HAIX soles and parts through the Extended Wear program — extending their service life well beyond a single sole.
Sizing tip
True-to-size for standard duty socks. If you wear thick wool or insulated socks on shift, consider sizing up by half. Width options (Narrow, Medium, Wide, Extra Wide) make this one of the most fit-customizable structural boots available — choose your width before settling on size.
Some products are fulfilled directly through our manufacturing partners. In rare cases, specific sizes may become unavailable after an order is placed. If this occurs, US Fire Services will contact the customer to offer a comparable size, alternative product, or order adjustment.
