Details

The Snap-tite HFX™ is a nitrile thru-the-weave rubber-covered fire hose that utilizes polyester and nylon 6.6 yarn in the reinforcing jacket. Under pressure, the polyester keeps the hose from snaking, while the nylon allows for controlled dilation — reducing friction loss and generating higher flow rates. Our special rubber compound provides a tough cover that resists heat, abrasion, snags, and hot embers.

Key Features

  • Extruded thru-the-weave nitrile rubber fire hose with polyester + nylon reinforcement
  • Ribbed cover surface greatly increases abrasion resistance for long service life

  • Suitable for attack, soft sleeve suction, and relay applications
  • Easy to maneuver and pack
  • Remains flexible to -40°F (-40°C); resistant to ozone, oxidation, and most chemicals/petrochemicals
  • NFPA 1960 compliant (manufactured under ISO 9001:2015)
